About Us 

 Franklin County Public Transportation provides service to Northern and Southern Franklin County and parts of Lake Placid for your shopping, medical, employment, educational, and miscellaneous needs.

In the Northern part of Franklin County , bus service is provided within and between Chateaugay, Burke, Fort Covington, St. Regis Falls, Malone and surrounding communities.  Service operates from 6:00 AM until 5:30 PM, Monday - Friday.  Saturday service provides transportation from 8:30 AM until 5:00 PM.  Shuttle service within the Malone community is available  Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM.  There is NO service for the Northern routes on Sunday.  All demand service and deviated pick-ups, must be coordinated 24 hours in advance.  Please see the individual schedules below for exact operational hours.

In the Southern part of Franklin County, bus service is provided within Saranac Lake, Tupper Lake and into Lake Placid, located in Essex County, seven days a week.  Demand service in Saranac Lake and Tupper Lake is only available Monday - Friday, 5:10AM to 6:105 PM.  All demand service and deviated pick-ups, must be coordinated 24 hours in advance.  Please see the individual schedules below for exact operational hours.

The Adirondack Route connects Northern and Southern Franklin County and provides valuable transportation into Lake Placid, located in Essex County.  This service operates 7 days a weeks and makes 3 round trips between the North and the South per day.
